During the flood which occurred in the province of Alexandria in October 2014, some affluent canals of the Scrivia River are flooded with flooding in the municipality of Serravalle Scrivia. Engineering Data, under the mandate of AXA Assicurazioni, carried out the damage assessments in a warehouse damaged by the impossibility of collecting water from the drainage systems of the building and the sewerage network. After accumulating in the courtyard and in the basement of the building, water poured into the storeroom placed at 1.50 meters above the road surface, linked to the shop located within the Serravalle Designer Outlet. The water and the silt flooded the premises up to a height of 60-70 cm from the floor, submerging the goods (footwear, handbags and other leather goods) placed on the bottom racks of the store.
